Fair Play Awards: Outdoor 2025
The Fair Play Award winners for each division from the Outdoor 2025 season have been determined.

Determining Fair Play Award Winners
Each team’s fair play score from their games throughout the season is combined with any bonus fair play points earned, less any demerits received for yellow and red cards.
-
A maximum of 10 fair play points is awarded to each team per game.
-
Teams lose 1 point for every yellow card issued and 2 points for every red card issued.
-
Bonus fair play points are awarded to teams that submit a referee evaluation within 14 days of the completion of their game (2 bonus points per game). Duplicate entries and reports with inaccurate game information are not counted toward the fair play bonus points.
Why Referee Evaluations Matter
Referee evaluations submitted throughout the season are an invaluable resource for the Referee Management Operations Committee (RMOC). These evaluations help identify which referees are ready for promotion to higher-ranked games, which referees may benefit from additional mentoring, and where ratings adjustments may be needed.
The evaluations also help the RMOC build a broader picture of referee performance across all Calgary leagues. The comments you provide help identify patterns, address recurring issues, and ensure that referees receive recognition and support where it’s deserved.

Updated Referee Evaluation Form
We have updated the referee evaluation form for the current Indoor 2024-25 season:
-
Several questions have been removed to make the submission process quicker.
-
The 1-5 rating scale has been replaced with Yes/No questions, along with text boxes to provide relevant comments.
-
The form now includes separate sections for the Main Referee and the Assistant Referee(s), allowing teams to provide feedback specific to each official.
These updates aim to make the evaluation process more efficient and to help us gather clearer, more focused information about referee performance during league games.
Thank you for your continued participation and for supporting fair play and referee development within our league.
